This tour starts with piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, a square famous for its church which is a notable example of Renaissance architecture attributed to Bramante.
We will move to the South side of the historical center, visiting the Navigli District renowned for its ingenious system of navigable canals and the Darsena, the old mercantile port of Milan. This area is also enriched by piazza XXIV Maggio, dominated by the neoclassical Porta Ticinese.
Here we are in Ticinese District, one of the most fascinating areas of the city not only for its cultural value and historical buildings (such as the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio and the Basilica of San Lorenzo), but also for fashion, pop underground culture and nightlife.
