This Tour starts by visiting the Castello Sforzesco, one of the main symbols of Milan and its history; now it is the venue of important cultural institutions and a tourist destination. It is one of the largest castles in Europe.
We will cross Parco Sempione in order to see Arco della Pace, an iconic neoclassical monument, and La Triennale, that houses exhibitions, conferences and events of art, design, architecture, fashion, cinema, communication and society.
We will explore the heart of the city, by visiting Piazza della Scala, with Palazzo Marino and the Teatro alla Scala, the opera house.
After we have taken a look at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (“The Lounge of Milan”), we will arrive to piazza Duomo and its beautiful cathedral.
We will continue with one of the most fascinating districts of modern Milan: Porta Nuova, renowned for Gae Aulenti square and its beautiful skyscrapers.
Finally we will visit the Brera area, a location of cultural interest because of the presence of the Academy of Fine Arts and a vibrant gathering place for artists.
