This Tour starts by visiting Castello Sforzesco, one of the main symbols of Milan and its history; nowadays it is the venue of important cultural institutions and a tourist destination. It is one of the largest castles in Europe.

We will cross Parco Sempione in order to see Arco della Pace, an iconic neoclassical monument, and La Triennale, that houses exhibitions, conferences and events of art, design, architecture, fashion, cinema, communication and society.

Then we will explore the heart of the city, by visiting Piazza della Scala, where you will see Palazzo Marino and the Teatro alla Scala, the opera house.

After we have taken a look at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (“The Lounge of Milan”), we will arrive to piazza Duomo and its beautiful cathedral.

This Group tour continues on the West side of the historical center in order to see piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, a square famous for its church which is a notable example of Renaissance architecture attributed to Bramante.

We will move to the Navigli District renowned for its ingenious system of navigable canals and the Darsena, the old mercantile port of Milan. This area is also enriched by piazza XXIV Maggio, dominated by the neoclassical Porta Ticinese.

Here we are in Ticinese District, one of the most fascinating areas of the city not only for its cultural value and historical buildings (such as the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio and the Basilica of San Lorenzo), but also for fashion, underground pop culture and nightlife.

English/French licensed Tourist Guide service included. Minimum 2 pax.
