Estate Sforzesca 2017
Estate Sforzesca (Sforza Summer) is the artistic event hosted in the Armory Courtyard of Castello Sforzesco that animate Milan evenings from 9 June to 27 August.
The program is full of events, almost every night and mostly with free admission: 70 shows of classical music, jazz, folk and pop, dance and theater.
Among them, August 12th at 9.30 p.m. the pianist Andrea Vizzini will perform in his PianoLink Silent Wifi Concert: a multisensory experience, a concert performed in the silence of the night on a silent piano and audible through wifi headphones from the public, free to roam within a radius of 500 meters each in his microcosm auditory.
Museums and exhibitions of the Sforza Castle
The Sforza Castle hosts many different museums, such as:
•the Sala delle Asse, painted by Leonardo Da Vinci
•the Museum of Pietà Rondanini, sculpted by Michelangelo

Around the Sforza Castle: Sempione Park
Sforza Castle is in the middle of the historical center, a few steps from Duomo Square, La Scala Theater, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and many other attractions.
Moreover, Sforza Castle is surrounded by the beautiful Sempione Park (Parco Sempione), created at the end of Napoleonic Empire.
The design of the park was conceived to create a panoramic view of Sforza Castle and the Arch of Peace, situated on the other side.
Good to know: the whole area of Sempione Park is covered by a free WiFi!
Walking around the park, you can take a break in one of the many stands and bars such as Bar Bianco and at Triennale‘s, that houses exhibitions, conferences and events of art, design, architecture, fashion, cinema, communication and society.
